The first is a ride height increase, from 8.7 to 9.5 inches (220 to 240 millimeters). When I lifted my Impreza I went with Subie Lift Oz (fantastic company and quality). Going to do that with my Outback Wilderness once I get her. Plan for 2" in front and 2.5" in rear to compensate for what ever sag. I don't over load it at all camping so I don't see a reason to spend crazy amounts on replacement struts to get at most 1-1.25" lift.
