Metroid prime scan visor

I'm using stable Dolphin 5...running Gamecube iso of Prime 2, it works perfectly and smoothly...but I can't progress in the game because the scan visor won't scan anything. This is a known problem, but people usually can fix it. I can't seem to fix it though.
