The V8 has much smoother power delivery and the additional torque is nice. Build quality (mainly in terms of materials, but also fit and finish) is much better imo. It’ll be just as good off-road or in snowy conditions as the 4Runner for when we need it. The GX rides much smoother and doesn’t seems to lean as much during braking and turning.
