For the rear, I bought 6" Speakers and cut the holes bigger for the rear baffles. It worked out well since those rear baffles have plenty of mounting depth. Not all 4" speakers will drop right into the fronts though, due to mounting depth. If your's doesn't have baffles or if you don't want to use them, no worries on the mounting depth.
