Dallisgrass (Paspalum dilatatum) is an evergreen, perennial grass native to Uruguay and Argentina. This tufted, broad-leafed grass reseeds itself generously and is considered a pest in most lawns. As with crabgrass, which dallisgrass resembles, prevention is the best method of weed control.
